@noithasntbeen No IH never made a Super H TA. This is a home made creation made by splitting a Super H at the flywheel housing and attaching a TA equipped 300 or 350 to the H eng. This has been debated many times in the Red power Magazine forums
Whoa Whoa… Farmall made a Super H T-A? Ive had Farmalls my whole life, I even have a Super M T-A. I NEVER knew Farmall made one of those. Anyone have any info on production numbers?
Very nice. We had a 1206 “Wheatland” back in the day. Originally had FWD with hi flotation tires on it. Dad had all that taken off by the dealer when he bought it new for some reason. No three point hitch or PTO. Simply meant for dragging large implements around the field. I’m biased, but I believe that the 1206 was the best tractor IH ever made. It’d outwork 4520′s in a heartbeat, same with a 1456 (the 56 series was the beginning of the end IMO).
@OzzInter
Thanks for the info. I think I do remember reading about that exp. unit in the IH archives on the Wisconsin Historical web site.
Over the years I have seen a few well made H T/A clones, and some real abortions of spare parts too.
With or without a T/A, or a M&W 9 speed, an H is still a great tractor.
@HemiHotRod
IH actually built one EXPERIMENTAL “H-TA” in 1953.
Never went into production.
Photos of it still survive and since then people claim to have this mythical model!
got a Deere queer up the road that keeps a 1086 to get something done, keep in mind Winchester was having a hard time selling model 70′s towards the end……they became their one worst enemy

Hey,thats my “M” at 0:11.. Thats funny to see it on here. I have a short video of it on YouTube. This was a great show!! great video
My favorite was and is the 560, even though it caused great pain for IH, and lead to the company’s long term downfall.
red power all the way. you speak the truth SMILLER5488. 856 IH. DAMM GOOD pullin tractor . john deer sucks ass
whats the tractor at 0:29

Yeah. IH was planing to make one but the hundred series came out before the Super H-TA was actually built.
bigbear2929 what do you got? The 856 is one of the absolute best tractors ever made! Probally one of those shit talking Deere queers!
That was a fun show. Thanks for the memories
856 a work horse? haha dont make me laugh
856 still #1 workhorse awesome display of true Red Iron.
I really like the 7488
Hrm thats cool
had me fooled now that i think of it it would be pretty easy to do that though and get some custom decals
LOL,
Thats because IH never made them. But, you can make one like that one by adding a 300 or 350 back half, to an H front.
Nice video never seen a Super H-TA before
